They are out there, for some reason, they fly off of the shelves to teenage girls and women alike. The Backpack Purse (hereafter referred to as BPP).
They come in many shapes and sizes, different varieties to suit different needs. Maybe a busy mom on-the-go who's looking for convenience and style. Maybe an outdoorsy yet feminine gal who just obviously can't carry a clutch. Or for someone not a girl, not yet a woman. I honestly tend to think of them as a bit childish, however there are some very attractive ones. I can't see myself toting a leather backpack around all day. I am a mom and when I don't bring an actual diaper bag I use a large tote handbag. Perhaps I've been missing out?
And they come with the option of looking upscale? If you know how to style yourself appropriately, I suppose a BPP may be acceptable. Add a matching heel or any type of pointed toe nude shoe and you're good to go.
Eh but they can be a little silly, no?
I'm neither here nor there with this accessory. There are some lovely designs out there, and almost anything can look fabulous in the right fabric, so there is so much playroom with a handbag like this. I will say that this bag needs to be the correct size or you may be look like you have transported back to the early 2000's. I won't carry one myself as I am not a cool, laid back, long-boarding girl with beach waves, nor a teenage girl. Maybe if I was in the vicinity of Coachella. I keep waffling on the look but ultimately the BPP is just not my cup of tea. What do you think? Do you or would you rock this bag?
